chemical- what to expect?

My beta was 3 on Tuesday. I took my last progesterone on Tuesday am.

What can i expect? When will I start bleeding? Will It be regular AF or different??

I had a chemical last month. Because it was so early I started bleeding and it was just like a regular AF. Maybe the cramps were a little heavier, but they only lasted a day, like usual.

I never had my beta #'s checked, though.

My first beta on a tues was 3 and thurs was 0. I started spotting on Wed and got regular AF on Sat. (it was due Thurs and I normally spot for 2-3 days before AF). I was on Crinone, but I didn't take it tues am figuring I could always take it later when I got the beta result, but didnt get the result til Wed am. Crinone and progesterone never slowed down AF for me though.

I think it's typical to just get AF late, but a regular one. Everyone is different.

Your period may come a day or so later. When I've had chemicals, I really would not have thought anything differently had I not been testing. The flow can be a bit heavier with a few more clots. Sorry for your loss

i knew i was having a chemical bc i woke up one morning and i was bleeding and cramping a bit. i went to the dr. and had bloodowrk done ( hcg was 19) and a sono. They basically said go home and thats it.

After being home for a couple hours my cramps were so bad I couldnt stand and my head felt like it was going to explode. I then fell asleep for a couple hours. I woke and felt the urge to go to the bathroom. When i got up I felt a rush and I was bleeding heavy with a signifcant size "clot." After that I felt a great sense of relief physically and continued with AF for another day or two with normal bleeding cramps. I was 5 weeks to the day.

The physical part wasnt too bad. Unfortunately, its the emotional part that is more difficult to deal with.

I had a similar beta to yours My first beta was 15.. second was 10. The night I got the results of the 15 beta, I ended up getting AF.

i've had 3 and all i can say is that each one has played out really differently. with the first, the cramping was really heavy for several days and with the last one i barely noticed. if your beta is already down that low, i suspect the bleeding will come pretty soon. i've never taken progesterone, so i'm not sure how that will affect it.
