window decorating...
I have a question about decorating and putting up window decorations... I have four bigger windows.. almost like a huge bay window...
I am not sure what type of window covering I should put on in addition to the blinds. I was looking for a scarf maybe.. but I am not sure. ANy suggestions?? I will try to post pics!!!
TIA!

Re: window decorating...
I just did this with my big window that I think is about 9'8" . I bought fabric and Joann's since I couldn't find a scarf long enough. I got 8 yards and it's the perfect amount. I bought the sconces at Marburn Curtain . good luck! Image Attachment(s):

The picture is dark, but you can get the idea...
I did this in my living room and dining room. The ends were sold as a pair, and the scallops were sold separately... you can customize.

Re: window decorating...
I ordered them through JCPenny's catalogue. I was so stumped about what to do, so we went into the Penny's Home Store to get ideas. We looked through a catalogue there and ordered them that day. It was so easy! The only difficult part was ironing them... my MIL helped me

Thanks for posting those! I was eyeballing those in the JCPenney Catalog but I wasn't sure how they would look once they were up in a "real" home! I think I may order them for my living room!!! Thanks so much!!!

Re: window decorating...
We have a double curtain rod...the back rod holds sheers and the front rod holds a valance
Its a southern exposure, but it must be the trees - I don't need anything more than the sheers
