I've heard if you either go on all fours (doggy-style ) or if you're bending over with your hands on your knees it will alleviate some of the pressure and take the weight off of your back. HTH

If it is really bad, I would tell your Dr. I am seeing a physical therapist and it is the only thing that is helping me. But, the pain was so bad I was in tears almost every day. I would get 1/2 way up the stairs and have to stop and cry. I couldn't stand, sit, walk, everything hurt. Thank goodness the PT helped.

Re: Back pain what are you doing for it?
I've been doing prenatal yoga, and it's been helping me a lot - not just with back pain, but also with hip pain. I actually purchased some of the props so that I could practice a little at home as well. Hope you feel better soon!

Re: Back pain what are you doing for it?
I go to a chiropractor for a pinched nerve I had a few months ago, but unfortunately it does not help at all with my lower back pain. I'm 37 weeks and at this point, the baby is so heavy. A heating pad does help though- just be careful not to fall asleep with it on.
