babymoon is officially booked!
we ditched our plans to go to Ireland because it looks like that would be done best as a nomadic roadtrip through the country and not exactly what I have in mind while pregnant. Instead we are going to the Amalfi Coast and Capri
My OB had no reservations about us going towards the end of second tri and just cautioned to walk every hour on the flight and to drink lots of water.
Anyone else taking a babymoon? when/where are you going?

we were invited to a wedding in Punta Cana in July...I'd be 22 weeks or so. We may go and extend the trip to make it our babymoon.

Re: babymoon is officially booked!
We're going on a cruise in May, it's with the family, but our cabin is far from them so we get alone time which is great.
And it's paid for.

Re: babymoon is officially booked!
sounds awesome - enjoy! We went to Anguilla a few weeks ago and were so glad we did. We always travel in Feb/March to somewhere warm, but I felt like I needed it more than ever this time! I was 28 weeks when we went and everything was fine.

Our flight was only 4 hrs, so it wasn't too long. I waited until the very end to board so I wasn't stuck too long and made sure to have an aisle seat so I could stretch my legs in the aisle (in part because I need the bathroom every 10 minutes). I bought a huge water in the airport and made sure to drink a lot before and during the flight. I would definitely recommend bringing water with you so you can have it before the flight attendants, etc. come around with drinks. I got up and walked around a lot (having to go to the bathroom so much made sure I didn't forget to do that :)). I also made sure to be dressed comfy. By the end I was uncomfortable and ready to get off the plane, but nothing too bad. If you get lucky and don't have a crowded flight (which we were super lucky with on the way home), try moving to a row by yourself or just you and DH so you can stretch out. I also didn't take a carry on bigger than a longchamp tote so I wasn't lugging stuff around in the airport.
