personal fertility nurse

I am a RN and have specialized in fertility the last 6 yrs. Having treated many couples through the initial work-up (day 3's, HSG, sometimes SA) and helping navigate what it all means, I have recently considered starting a private practice to which I make myself available to clients who desire extra attention/details/teaching/encouragement that they may not be able to get through their fertility clinic. Essentially, someone to travel the path with you, providing education, injection service, tips, support throughout your cycles. Unless you've gone through it, I believe the general public has no idea how difficult the process of IVF can be, and it involves so much from a physical AND emotional standpoint. Ultimately, I would work with you until far enough along in pregnancy that you feel comfortable.

Being a mom myself and having gone through an unexpected difficult pregnancy and delivery, I feel it may be a helpful service that I can provide to help couples achieve that goal of building their family.
