When does your landscaper come back after winter?

I just got a letter in the mail from my landscaper stating that they were going to start cutting the lawn mid-March. I cant remember when they started in the past? Does this sound too early? I may call them and tell them to come once I actually start seeing the grass grow. When does your landscaper come back after winter?

I think mine starts to come around now..I keep meaning to call.

I was walking around my yard the other day, and I saw a lot of little plants sprouting up and stuff (from previous owner - this is first summer in our house)

I'm kind of tempted to call now for a clean up and get rid of all the leaves. I already raked up the areas that covered some plants and flowers that were trying to pop through.

My DH is a landscaper They just started cleanups last week.

mine starts around now too....i think he will be here in the next week or so

they come back around now to prep the lawn to start growing again, aerate it, do a general clean up and put down fertilizer if needed
they don't start cutting it for another month or so at least, once it starts to grow again

Thanks everyone! Am I the only one who thinks its too early to start paying this bill? My landscaper always tacks on extraa charges. I dread this bill.

We don't do a Spring or Fall clean up. They sent us a letter stating that they will be starting Spring clean up this month.

Mowing service will only resume for us in April per the letter they sent us. No need to have them come now. Especially if you don't do a Spring clean up which usually is NOT included in their regular schedule/price.

Mine come on Fridays, and I was wondering if they were going to come this week as well because my neighbors have been getting their lawns done all week. I can't wait to have all the clean up done!
