Vacuum rave!
DH and I bought a Eureka AirSpeed bagless vacuum at Walmart this week for $98.
After reading reviews and seeing that it 'works better than a dyson' I decided to give it a shot. For $98 - what the he!l!
I nearly DIED after I vacuumed. OH MY FREAKING LORD. We'd been vacuuming with an older Oreck. And while I knew it wasn't the best, I didn't think it was THAT bad.
WOW. So wrong!
We have a persian cat (read: fluffy/furry) and a pug who sheds CONSTANTLY. It's a nighmare vacuuming.
Well, this bad-boy of a vacuum picked up more pet hair, dander, and dust than I even knew EXISTED in our apartment. Our carpets look brand new.
My first comment to DH afterwards was "I cannot believe we lived in such filth." Horrifying, yet theraputic!
I am now a vacuum-a-holic.
Totally recommend it!

And yes, pugs rule...but MAN do they shed!!!!!!!!!!
