Horrible Stomach Pains??
I wanted to see if this is possibly a side effect to some of the medicine I've been taking since this is my first month on hormones.
I'm having horrible stomach pains, not cramps near uteris, but more stomach area. I feel very bloated but not gassy at all. It's getting worse and I'm having trouble working. I have a call into my RE.
I took clomid 2 weeks ago, an HCG shot last Wed night and I've been on vaginal estradiol twice a day since last Tues. Have you ever had these pains on these meds?? TIA!!!

hate to say it but have you thought stomach virus?
i just got over one of those, with very similar symptoms. My dr said they're going around like wildfire now..

Anything is possible! It could be a virus, although this feels different, hard to explain but the pain is not like anything I've experienced. Not as bad as a miscarriage but close, in a different area though, higher up in stomach.

if i remember correctly PennyCat had a bad stomach response to progesterone supps. you might want to ask your doctor to switch to crinone. i think that did the trick for her.

Yup!!!  I found the generic progesterone supps gave me terrrrrrrrible stomach cramps to the point where I asked Dr.B if I could just stop taking them before my 2ww was up.
The next month I tried Crinone instead. It was much better!!

Thank you everyone. I'm not on progesterone, I'm on estrogen to thicken my lining. I'm not sure if there is another option for that. After speaking with the nurse at my RE's office twice today and doing some research, and her talking with the RE and calling back - we've sort of concluded that the estrogen is "feeding" my endomitriosis. I have endo outside of my uteris and the estrogen, while thickening my uterine lining, is also thickening the other endo tissue in my abdomen causing the pain. They've cut my dose in half, we'll see if the pain lessens...
