water breaking question
If your water broke with one child, is it more prone to break with the following children???
My water didn't break with ds#1, but did with ds#2....
My moms water didn't break with me, but then broke with my next 3 siblings....

My friends water broke with her DS#1 and DD#2 but not with her DS#3

Mine broke with #1.
Didn't break until I was almost 9cm with #2.
It broke with #3 (but #3 was just trickles until I got to the hospital and was examined).

With both of my girls my water broke. It was like a huge gush. I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks if it holds true for all of my kids. My doctor's theory is that I don't really feel contractions or anything until my water breaks and that's why my labors are so quick. Only about 5 more weeks till I find out if that's true!

I was wondering the same thing and was going to ask at my appt tomorrow! My water broke at home with DD, so I am wondering if I should expect the same with this baby.
