Talk to me about your stroller....
We went into Buy Buy Baby today and looked around. Lots of fun!
The area I am most confused about is strollers...
My BFF got the Uppa Baby.
I personally saw a Grace or was it Chico one I liked the style of better, looked prettier. It was half the price.
Is there a reason (like safety, easier to manuever, seat that you carry weighs less etc.) that people prefer the Uppa Baby or the Bugaboo? If so please share.

Re: Talk to me about your stroller....
Wish DS I registered (and received) the Graco Quattro Tour which was a travel system (infant carrier and stroller). Wish I thought about it a little more and read into it. I never realized the stroller was 27 pounds! Talk about a heavy PITA stroller.
I used the Snap N Go with the infant carrier as long as possible. Then after a few uses of the stroller I realized I hated it and wanted something smaller. So once DS was out of the infant carrier (8 months or so) and in the convertible car seat I went and bought the Peg Perego Aria.
It's a lightweight stroller (7lbs), has snack tray and cupholder for DC, and a parent cupholder. It reclines and maneuvers relatively well.
However, was very happy with the Graco infant carrier. Used it until he was around 8 months then put him rear facing in the convertible car seat (we have Britax Roundabout).
Check out the Baby bargains book. Super helpful!

Re: Talk to me about your stroller....
I registered for the Uppa. I always wanted a bassinet feature and the Uppa comes with it standard. Plus you can remove the seat and use the base as a snap-n-go. I just really liked all of the features of it.

Re: Talk to me about your stroller....
get the citi mini with the adaptor and skip the snap and go. The mini maneuvers great is light and so easy to open and close.

Re: Talk to me about your stroller....
We arent PG but with DS we went through like 4 strollers before I found "the one". We ended up with and LOVING the graco metrolite. It has all the bells and whistles of a full size but with none of the bulk, or weight. As a BTDT, IMO, its the best stroller out there. We liked the graco quattro tour once it was open and out, but it was crazy heavy and bulky that it didnt outweigh the features of it (totally agree with Jess above). The graco metrolite is definitely worth checking out! Cant beat it for the price either!

Re: Talk to me about your stroller....
With my first, I was just as confused as you, now with my second, I am going to be the same way over double strollers...
That said, I skipped the Snap and Go. I know everyone swears by it, but you can only use it as long as you are using the Infant carrier, and I wound up stopping that at 5 months or so. So, I got a Graco Metrolite stroller, (only slightly heavier than the Snap and go) along with the Graco infant carrier. (You can't go wrong with graco or Chicco)
When DS was 4 months, I went and bought another stroller, and that was the City Mini. I know they make an adaptor for Chicco seats, and graco seats, you may just want to do that?

Re: Talk to me about your stroller....
I was going to register for the City Mini, but ended up with the Chicco Cortina travel system. The Uppa Baby and Bugaboo strollers are nice because they offer the bassinet feature, but I honestly couldn't see spending that kind of money on a stroller. Our nursery furniture cost what those strollers do!
We picked the travel system because it comes with everything we would need, whereas the City Mini requires you to buy all the accessories separately. I was going to get the Graco Snugride infant seat if I got the City Mini, but the Chicco Keyfit seat that comes with the travel system is much lighter (and both are the regular seats that go up to 22 pounds). Both the City Mini and the Cortina stroller fold with one hand, so no difference there. The City Mini is lighter by I think 5 pounds, but I didn't have an issue lifting the Cortina stroller. We also liked the way the Cortina stroller maneuvered better than the way the City Mini did.
Def try them out in the store. Put some weight in the stroller and push it around. Fold it up and lift it onto a shelf as if you're putting it in the trunk. I did this three different times with the two strollers I was trying to decide on.

we registered for the Chicco Keyfit Cortina travel system and the City Mini (for when we go on walks at the dog park and more outdoorsy type places). and we figured my DH could keep the city mini in his car (since it looks a little more manly lol) and i'd keep the chicco in my car.

Re: Talk to me about your stroller....
if you liked another stroller better, then go that way by all means. I thought I would love the bugaboo but i loved the Uppa Baby so much more. for me, i definitely want the bassinet feature in a lighter stroller, as I will be stranded without a car (which DH takes every day) and need a good stroller for long walks, so a heavy travel system is out of the question for me. but if you have a car then i've heard good things about the Cortina. I also want the city mini as my lightweight stroller, but it doesn't fully recline so won't work for an infant (thought it does have a carseat adaptor).
i've heard good things about the snap and go but plan to borrow it from a friend for short trips. don't want to waste $80 when it doesn't last very long

I'm going to do the Chicco KeyFit carseat on the Baby Trend frame.
As for after that, I'm still researching
