Well, H&M was discouraging!
I went with my MIL for some clothes today. So far, I've used Old Navy.com for stuff and I have 2 shirts from Motherhood.
So today, I tried H&M. First of all, NOT cheap! Secondly, my thighs didn't grow THAT much! Who makes pants for pregnant women that are TIGHT IN THE THIGHS??? That is just cruel!
Then I though maybe Forever 21 might have stuff. They didn't and I felt like a house in that store because everyone was so tiny.
Finally, we hit Macy's (Motherhood) and I got 2 tanks, a dress, and 3 shirts for a tad over $100. And everything was so much cuter!!!
But I definitely was getting discouraged there for a while thinking I was going to have to resort to sweats soon.

Re: Well, H&M was discouraging!
Believe me I know how you feel...I went shopping today because I have a christening tomorrow...ugh what an experience. I feel so large not to mention how difficult it is to get dressed and undressed at 29 weeks. I thought I was going to pass out everytime I put my sneakers back on!
I feel like I have gained mostly in my belly...but of course my legs and arms are bigger than they have ever been and it is so difficult to except!

I have had the most success in the Macy's Motherhood store! I love it there, and they have a lot of sales!

OMG! I was going to post this about H&M! I had the same experience today
First of all I am only 11 weeks (was going to get a cple things in advance as my regular clothes still fit) and have gained no weight so wth were the pants tight on me?!?!??! Does H&M run small? I don't normally shop there so I dont know.
SOOO discouraging. Glad to hear Macys has a better selection

Re: Well, H&M was discouraging!
The H & M jeans are my favorite!!!!
Although, I will say they are very narrow and I have to buy a bigger size for sure.

Re: Well, H&M was discouraging!
I never had any luck with the maternity section in "regular" stores. I found everything at maternity shops: Motherhood, Pea in a Pod, etc.

Re: Well, H&M was discouraging!
I too was really disappointed by H&M maternity. I have a handful of non-maternity pieces from H&M that I mix and match with my work wardrobe but I found the maternity selection to be limited, poor quality, not cheap, and walked out without even trying anything on.
I found destination maternity best for work pants, gap maternity best for tops, and got a pair of skinny jeans I love from forever21 maternity.

Re: Well, H&M was discouraging!
I wouldn't have touched H&M and especially Forever21 for maternity clothes with a 10 foot pole!!! sorry!!!
But motherhood maternity is actually good. Their clothes are comfortable and if you hit them up during a sale then even better!!!!

Re: Well, H&M was discouraging!
I have a ton of stuff from H&M pre-pregnancy, size 4. I haven't gained weight at all. I actually lost some and I had to buy maternity pants in a size 8 and there a little tight on my butt. I really was disappointed in their selection and fit.

Re: Well, H&M was discouraging!
The maternity clothing selection everywhere still leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered jeans from Forever21.com and have been very happy with them. Besides that, all I have is a pair of maternity leggings from a Pea in the Pod. I just pair flowy non-maternity tops with maternity pants. It's really frustrating to find cute clothes!

Re: Well, H&M was discouraging!
maternity things in general I hate, I feel like the cut of them make you look 10 times bigger than you really are...I try to get just larger regular clothes and live in maternity leggings I have yet to find a pair of maternity skinny jeans I like, I"m eyeing a pair on asos.com
