FETA CHEESE
Do you all really not eat Feta at all? I mean can u ask if its pasteurized & if so isnt it ok? I love greek salad & the other day i had one & asked if teh feta was past. & they said yes so i had it.

My Dr. told me I can eat any cheese as long as it pastureized.... most cheeses in the US are pasturized (unless you are in a fancy restaurant and they import it in or someone makes their own cheese).

I eat it. I'm sure it's fine. When I get a greek salad I just ask for a little less feta.

Athenos sold in supermakets is pastureized. I venture to say that most fetas made in US ARE pasturized. Like from a diner I BET it is. Maybe from a real deal Greek restaurant it is not though.

as long as the feta isn't off the boat from greece you should be ok. just ask your waiter to check the label. Athenos feta cheese at the grocery store is pasteurized and I eat it on occasion.
