Will definitely see my kiddo in the next 10 days!!
At my Dr's appt on Monday, they were very concerned that I was developing preclampsia. I had to stop working (first day on maternity leave today!), do a 24 hour urine collection to check my protein levels, and come in this morning for a BP check and go over the results of the protein screen.
Well my BP came in lower than it was on Monday, and I *just* passed the protein screen "by a hair" (direct quote there). I have to go for another protein screen next week so they can keep an eye on it. If my BP is up at my Monday appt, they will most likely send me to L&D though anyway.
However, she said that because of the preclampsia risk, they will not let me go past my due date, but they are hoping I go naturally on my own by then.
So I will definitely be meeting my little boy at some point in the next 10 days!!!
