Behr's furniture
does it take as long as everyone says? How far along were you when you ordered? I'm 21 weeks and people are making me nervous that it can take 4 months.
we definitely don't need a crib right away but want the dresser etc. to get the room ready.

We ordered ours Jan 1 (I was about 17ish weeks) and got the call within 5 weeks it I was in. I was shocked, we weren't expecting it until the end of MArch/begining of April. Needless to say, it's sitting in their warehouse since we don't have the room set up yet, LOL. Ours is from the Young America collection, if maybe that matters on delivery time frame. We were told about 12-16 weeks though when we ordered it.

thanks! that's what I was worried about. so i guess if it does come earlier, they can keep it for a while then which is good to know.

Yep, they told me just to call them when we wanted to set up delivery! Have fun shopping, it's a great store!!

It truly depends on if it's in stock or not. They told us 8-10 weeks - which is what they tell everyone. It took 18 weeks to come in. Our DS was born and almost 2 weeks old when it finally was delivered. He was also a week late.
You need to ask if it's in stock. We ordered a set from Babys Dream.

we ordered from Behr's but our sales guy never even told us how long it would take - all he said was that he'll put us down for early June and they'll call us when it's in and we'll schedule delivery. we ordered 2 weeks ago. im due mid-july.
