fetal hb/growth question
I don't know exactly how far along I am now, somewhere between 6 and 7 weeks (closer to 7).
I went to the RE on Monday b/c I was having weird pains and he did a scan and saw a fetal hb (96) and normal crl (didn't tell me what it was) but he said everything looked "good".
I just had a follow up scan with him today (4 days later) and he said he was concerned b/c the crl didn't increase that much (today was 5.7) and fetal hb was only 113.
He said he wouldnt say at this point there was only a 5% of miscarriage, which is what he would have said if the growth was normal, but more like 15-20% down from 25%.
He wants me to come back next Thurs for a follow-up at which time we will be able to tell if this pregnancy is viable (I lost one in December due to chromosomal abnormality).
Everything I read online says the hb is at the lower end of normal for this far along...
Anyone have a similar experience or words of wisdom for me?

Re: fetal hb/growth question
I just had a sono last night and the bean was measuring 6 weeks and the heartbeat was 114. I was told that was a great strong HB for that gestational age.
Good luck!

Re: fetal hb/growth question
I also had a sono yesterday and was told the heartbeat was on the low side...although I don't know exactly what the rate was. I have another sono next week so hopefully all will be good. I'm also about 6 weeks according to them and the nurse told me that sometimes they don't even see a heartbeat at 6 weeks...good luck to you!
