Preggo with DC #2/or more

Did anyone register just to register? I don't plan on having a sprinkle/shower this time around since we are having another boy. And if my mother mentions having one I wouldn't even let anyone know I am registered. The registry is for my own purposes.

I was thinking more to keep track of the things I need. I know I need a double stroller and an additional camera for the monitor. I'm sure I need small things that I got rid of from DS but it would help if it was all in one place with pics rather than a hand written list.

i did for the same reason plus the discount - i am not planning on having another shower but i just want to keep track of the things i need

I did but it's more a wish list for me and to get the discounts and some friends who want to buy me things asked that I make one so they have an idea of what to buy. There will be no shower though!

I created a wish list, but I think I'm going to make a registry to get the discounts.

i have registered all 3 times... 1/2 for myself to remember what I needed and 1/2 at the request of close family who kept asking me to so they knew what I needed so they didnt buy me anything I had already.

I registered this time. I did have a sprinkle, since I am having twin and my mom insisted.

If I were having or I wouldn't have had a sprinkle.

But I still would have registered. I know some family members would have bought us a gift and would prefer they know it be something we need.

Plus I would want the completion coupon.

I did with #2 but I didn't tell anyone. One friend was smart enough to look and did buy me something I wanted

I don't think I will this time around though. I have almost everything.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought to do this. I'm trying to be as paperless as possible. Having a hand written list for my wish list it will end up in the rest of the paperwork shuffle.
I forgot about the discounts! That's an added bonus.

After writing about 10 different lists and leaving them in various bags, pockets, and cars, I decided that making a registry would make things a lot easier. Also, people have been asking me what I need and I feel awful telling them things to get me. My mom is insisting on throwing me a sprinkle since I am having a and my 2 girls are 5 and 3.5. When asked what I need, she has been directing them to my registry so I don't have to tell anyone. And the completion coupon is totally worth it!
