I have no idea but I honestly didn't know Granite could chip that easy!
That stinks!!!
Maybe you should be cooking in an apron and heels and nothing else when DH comes home. He couldn't be mad then!

ha! good idea! I guess I'll check out home depot on Sat & see if they have suggestions. It's a small chip but it's really obvious if you know it's there.

Call a granite installer. They will color match an epoxy and fill it, similar to what they do to seems.

Yes, Jersey mama is right. Also, you should seal granite once a year and know that edges may chip due to normal wear and tear around the sinks and dishwashers where pots hit the edges going in and out. Expect to have some chips depending on edge design the stone selected. Some stone is harder and may not chip as easily as others. Tell hubby this is normal. If it really bothers you, have it filled. If not, enjoy it's character :)

I have a question-- can you recommend a sealer you can get to do yourself? You don't need a granite installer to come back and seal for you, right?
I have marble in my bathroom and I have noticed a few little nicks.
