Re: gd question
tricky question ...
how high do your numbers usually run? If they run high for a regular meal (grilled chicken, brown rice, veggies), then I wouldn;t chance it .... What week are you in? The later in PG, the harder it is to control ...
Maybe opt for Eggplant Parm, no pasta but salad on the side (oil & vinegar dressing on the side also) Or a thin crusted grandma slice Perhaps a grilled chicken and veggie Pannini (eat half the bread) ... a lot of pizza places are offering those now...
Pizza Places are hard!
Do you have insulin? Did they give you a pen in case you need one? If they did, I would use 5 units and have 2 slices and some water....

Re: gd question
The diabetic educator I met with this week said one slice at dinner is okay. I haven't tried it yet, but that is the advice she gave me.

Re: gd question
Yes, especially white pizza. She said you can likely get away with two white slices and not eat the crust. If there are veggies on it, even better.
I haven't tried regular pizza yet but I have tried two slices of thin crust white pizza with a salad and I was totally fine.

Re: gd question
thanks for the advice. We decided to stick with Chinese which I know I can handle.
