Why go Gluten Free?
Asside from dietary restrictions/allergies, what is the benefit for a person to avoid gluten?

Re: Why go Glutan Free?
i honestly dont know the benefits to following a gluten free diet unless you have a medical reason..
i dont understand why anyone would want to spend all that extra money on food - or skip out on some wonderfully delicious foods that i can no longer eat...
but i think it's this year's Atkins, South Beach, etc etc

Re: Why go Glutan Free?
idk what the benefits are of going gluten free besides having an allergy to gluten or having celiac disease.
i've actually heard that if you don't have these allergies that you shouldnt eat GF foods...

Re: Why go Gluten Free?
I've done A LOT of research on this and there is NO benefit to being GF if you don't have a reason to be.

I tried Chex Gluten free cereal, and thought it didn't sit well, in my stomach. Maybe I just imagined it. Mary
