Re: What are the best websites for looking for a house?
I have a listing book acct with Beth on here
What I usuallydo is first look up house on listing book and/or MLSLI.com
Then I go to Redfin.com for more details.
Redfin is my favorite!

I would be happy to set you up with listingbook
it's feed from MLS (everything pretty much is)
but it allows you to see MLS like a realtor- with pending sales, price changes, new listings etc
it's a great tool
just FM me

Re: What are the best websites for looking for a house?
I liked listingbook for the same reasons Beth listed above. It was nice seeing price history if there was a change & I liked being able to see if there was already a pending sale. You can also mark certain houses as a favorite and keep an eye on them. After we bought, I logged in & it was cool to see how all my favorites ended up (if they sold, how much etc)
I referenced Zillow for property layout - it outlines the property line of the address you enter & you also see how the neighbor's property lines up next to you, etc
