Bangers and Mash
Is this the one with the sausage? Does anyone have a simple recipe for this?

Re: Bangers and Mash
It's not really a recipe
it's just big Irish or English pork sausages served over mashed potato, sometimes with gravy

ITA.
I would just grill the sausages and mash potatoes and then make some sort of gravy.

Yep its my favorite meal. Go to any irish store typically they have irish bangers (sausage) make a bunch of mashed potatoes. Grill bangers. Saute onions and either make beef gravy or buy it add a bit of ketchup and guinness or this is what my grandma did (to taste) and plop all over with some fresh peas.

Definitely go to an Irish store for the sausages... DH also really likes Chef Sauce. I'm not a fan, but it's a must for an Irish mixed grill.

Re: Bangers and Mash
Hey, its also a classic English dish! Just serve up some nice sausages over mashed potatoes. I put a dollop of Philadelphia in mine, with lots of butter of course!
You will need to serve this with: A. Bisto Gravy. Aaaah, Bisto.
B. Now my husband loves his ketchup, but my favorite is....HP Fruity Sauce
C. The most important part, The Sausage itself...I go for the best! Debbie & Andrews Harrogate 97% pork. Meaty goodness
D. Now, I also like to have some beans with this...and it has to be Heinz Beanz...our kids grow up on these.
If you want a tutorial on Toad in the Hole, thats my specialty! Yummy!
