how long
So we placed a bid yesterday afternoon. By 7PM we had a counter from the sellers. We came back with another offer for them immediately. We are now waiting to hear back again.
Is it normal that we haven't heard anything yet? We really want this house, but are so jaded with putting in offers (previous houses) and not hearing anything EVER, that I am super anxious about this.
I am trying to just let go of the outcome but it is difficult to do.
Also- in your experience, how long is customary for this whole process to take?
The house is part of an estate, so I am guessing the seller will want to progress fairly swiftly, but one never knows....

we have been going back and forth with sellers and havent heard anything since sat afternoon  
 it can take a little while. I would have your agent followup if you havent heard anything by tonight!
