Breaking Out

My skin has been awful since my bfp. Is this a pregnancy thing? Anyone else's skin start breaking out while pregnant?

I don't remember this happening with my ds. I actually think my skin got better with that pregnancy.

Did you have it from the start? Does it ease up at any point? I even have some on my back which I've never had before.

Yes, I never have breakouts, but had them throughout my first tri. They've since stopped! Im having a girl, and have heard that you break out more with girls...but who knows!

My skin broke out really really bad in the beginning and cleared up towards the 2nd tri. It still has some scarring from the whoppers I got though!!

Re: Breaking Out

yup, my skin was horrific the first few weeks. about 2 weeks ago i started using this "pregnancy" acne face wash and it actually has helped. it's made by Belli and they had it at my cvs. it's $ though, like 22$ for the tube. but worth it imo - i was so embarassed at how bad my skin was getting.

Re: Breaking Out

my skin is a nightmare!!

and didn't START to look better until VERY recently... I'm currently almost 23 weeks. It's still bad, but not as bad as it was.
UGH!!!

And to make matters worse, using proactive for a few years helped me develop a benzoil peroxide allergy!

Interesting...it looks like most of you are expecting Chat Icon or had a Chat Icon

I may need to start a poll for this!
