I heard a small amount is ok especially in the 3rd trimester, but I never asked my doctor because i saw no point. I've never been a big fan of wine (or alcohol for that matter) so I figured it wasn't worth it. Heck, i won't even let myself drink caffeine (except for on the rarest of occastions) so I certainly wasn't going to have even a sip of alcohol. I'm just anal when it comes to this kinda stuff.
Definitely ask your Doctor and see what s/he says about it.

Maybe I should live in Europe. Over there, wine while pregnant is fine, and, oh yeah, paid maternity leave. We need wine over here in America, if you ask me!
Our midwives here used to (up until very recently) tell us to have a pint of guiness if we had a low iron count.
