Passed my 3 hr but...

I'm anemic again. I know I only have to take an iron pill but ugh.

And I asked my dr office why I had to take the 3 hr and they told me it's because I'm almost 30 who knows?

I'll talk to my dr but I'd rather be anemic than have gd.

I found out I was anemic after I failed my 1 hour. I went on to pass the 3 hour, and the iron pill isn't that big of a deal other than the fact I didn't need help in the constipation department.

I was anemic with DS too, so I suppose I'm not all that surprised. But I didn't get anemic with DS until nearly 36 weeks so it wasn't that big of a deal.

I've been on iron now since 26 weeks and it bloooooooows!

if you take the iron pill with orange juice it is absorbed better

also get a stool softener like colace

I don't have a problem taking it. the only problem I had with #1 was the after taste of iron. Nothing helped. I ended up taking OTC Bifera and it made a huge difference. I'll prob end up doing that again.
I too am not surprised I'm anemic again. But it beats gd.
