signing mortgage disclosures tonight- will being pregnant cause any hiccups?
i thought i read somewhere here that mortgage lenders get weary about maternity leave and disability..
should i be wearing my coat the whole time or what? i dont want any hiccups.

I heard the same thing too. We are in the process of buying a home and I just had a baby 2 months ago.
I took my 6 weeks maternity leave and now off another 3 months for FMLA unpaid.
We asked our mortgage broker multiple times if by me being on FMLA and currently no salary would affect a mortgage....
He told us DEF Not. That they consider that being discrimination. I just had my company write a letter sharing my expected return date.
Then again we heard from a realtor it could cause problems...but the mortgage broker said no.
The only good thing is, we will be find without my salary if they wish to not include it.
Def something to look into...bc we heard mixed things too.
