I have only bought one piece of furniture from Target...a microwave cart. And, I've had it for 5 years and it has no signs of wear.
I think that it's worth it for what you are paying. I wouldn't expect to have it for the rest of my life, but I think you can get a good few years out of it.

The crib and dressing table I bought from BRU is also sold at Target, so I think it is the manufacturer you want to look at not the store.

Yes, if you get the baby bargains book it list the manufacterers so you can check the ratings.

I bought by 5 year old daughters furniture from there. It was called- a bedroom in a box. it was a small dresser, mirror, nightstand, and headboard. It is SOOO Sturdy. I was shocked when it was delivered. I figured for 500 bucks if it lasted a few years we would be good, but i think it will last much longer. I love target!

I think it had good ratings in Baby Bargains, but when I saw it in the Westbury target- it wasnt impressive and was all broken (of course who knows what genius put it together)

Thanks. My mother said a friend of her's got their furniture there pretty cheap and that it turns into a full-size bed headboard afterwards. I'll have to look into it.
