is this normal?

Our Chat Icon is just 9 days old but I've been noticing him twitch and jump, mainly his arms and legs when he's sleeping. is this ok? i feel like it's just his nerves or muscles working themselves out. has anyone else's baby done this?

Re: is this normal?

Yes -- his nervous system isn't fully developed yet. My DD would throw her arms up in the air while she was sleeping as if to say "Enough, I've had enough already!"

Lol -- it's perfectly normal. And quite amusing to watch, we found.

He's probably throwing his arms up in the ear and proclaiming "Why the HECK did they take me out of my warm cozy place in Mommy's Belly!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Re: is this normal?

If baby is doing it a lot or it's waking him up you can try swaddling him. This should help.
