DH and I disagree
I want to know this time around if we are being blessed with a.  or  and DH thinks we should be surprised like we were the last time. He's really stickin' to his guns...but I really want to know...

well then maybe you should compromise - just tell him that you'll find out and keep the secret so that he can still be surprised. I don't see why either of you should have to do something you don't want to.

A friend of mine did this. She knew and he didn't. She was only allowed to tell people who wouldn't tell her DH. The shower was all gender neutral. A few people gave an extra present that said on them "Do Not Open Until Baby Gets Here" so that he wouldn't know. It worked...I think there were about 15 people that knew, and he never found out.
