I bought them, ready stuffed, from a local Lancaster Co. farmer market/store; Their meats are the best!!! However, I love the way my Mom made stuffing, in the good 'ole days; Bread cubes, milk, salt/pepper, celery, onion, egg. Sometimes, on Holidays, she put oysters in some of the stuffing. Mary

My mouth is watering for a whoopie pie! I have not had them since I was in Lancaster in Sept. I printed the recipe you posted a few days back. I think I am going to try it!

They do have the best meats etc in Lancaster! Whenever we go we take a cooler and get stuff and bring it home and put it in the freezer. Sounds like a yummy dinner!

I don't think we have a Trader Joes. Do they go by a Brand Name, other than TJ ? Mary

We have not been there in awhile- I am trying to figure out a time to go. We had such a nice time last time we went. It is such a nice place to visit and the people are very freindly and make you feel so at home.

Hi!!! Glad you enjoyed Lancaster County!! On Sun. when DH and I drove a back way to Rt. 30, to eat at Perkins, we saw baby lambs!!!! So adorable!!!! Don't know if you can see, but there are twins; DH thought they might have been born the day I took this pic. We passed it, and saw the tiniest lamb, getting up from the ground, and walking wobbly!!
