BD & IUI Question

A couple of weeks ago when my RE told us that this next cycle would be the first medicated one, he said we would BD and IUI. I meant to ask about a schedule once my cycle started. Yesterday I had an u/s and blood tests and started Clomid (50 mg). I go back on CD12 for an u/s. Should we BD on CD9 and CD11? When I do O, it's usually CD21-23. I know Clomid should make it earlier, but probably not CD12 or 13. So, if we BD 9 and 11, by CD12 when we get the u/s my DH would be replenished (for lack of better words!). I just don't want to miss it if the Clomid makes me O really early. Thoughts?? TIA!

i think those BD days will be fine. you shouldn't O before your u/s (and if you do, you are covered by BD). once you go in on CD12, you should have a much better idea of when you will O and you can ask about your BD schedule. as long as your DH doesn't have any issues, you only need to abstain for a day or two before IUI (double check with your dr on their specific requirements). good luck!
