Dear baby,
We thought you didn't want to come early because your room wasn't finished...so we did that.
Then I thought maybe you didn't want to be here until the hospital bag was totally packed...so "check" for that one too.
Then I thought "Oh, the diapers" and I made sure all of your cloth diapers were washed, dried and put away in a drawer.
But oh, your headbands! How could Mommy forget to order them? So yesterday we put a rush order in on that!
And who would want to come home in a dirty car? So we got a nice shiny car wash and put your car seat in...don't worry, Daddy was ultra neurotic in the installation.
Well, maybe you're nervous about your 85lb big brother boxer Jeter and how he would behave on walks with you...so I walked up and down the block with an empty stroller and a very proud big brother boxer by my side.
So I ask you little girl...what is it you're waiting for? We've done all we've had to do to prepare for your arrival. I also ate spicy food all weekend, pineapple, I've been sitting on a yoga ball and tonight is eggplant time. Please come out!!!! How nice would it be to be born on your due date? If you accept bribes, I'll give you anything you want once you can communicate and let me know you want it. Just seriously, it's time to come out and meet us. You'll like us, I promise!

I could have written this myself except used baby boy and replaced headbands with hats!
I feel your pain.

Hey angela - didn't you originally have a March due date and they changed it. . maybe you need to get your doctor to send the baby a note to to let her know it was official! i think these babies might be stubborn and not realize that March was not correct!

That just might be it! I'll tell him to holler up to her on Tuesday! Although that's DH's birthday and he does not want a birthday twin...so that means it'll probably be Tuesday!
