Anyone Else
Dying for a drink? I went to a BBQ for the 4th of July and I was dying to have a Pina Colada. I can't wait for this pregnancy to be over!

I would KILL for a glass of wine! I am actually having a BBQ this weekend (60 people) and the two featured drinks are beer and sangria - I make it every year and love it!
So I have to make it and can't even drink it

yes, DH has a beer with dinner and I open it for him and just smell it. I have taken a sip here and there, but I try not to because Im teasing myself

TTYTt, I'm really not missing it. I wouldn't mind a glass of wine, but it's not bothering me that I can't have it. I did want a pina colada, but then I made myself a coconut pineapple smoothie, and I was happy

Well after 20 weeks I have not denied myself the occassional small glass of white wine and it tasts sooooo yummy! I usually have it with DH when we BBQ this summer. I sniff it too!

I do this too. I have red wine every other night (a glass) with dinner...doc said to go ahead, it will NOT harm the baby so i feel fine having it.

I have been waiting for the first trimester to be over but now that I am in my second, I plan on having the occasional glass of wine. My 1 year anniversary is the Sat and I will be having a glass of champagne to celebrate.

Definately try the non-alcoholic stuff- I don't even like beer and these are so good on a hot summer day.

I will be 17 weeks tomorrow and have been dying for a glass of wine. I have many friends that had the occasional glass and were told by there dr. that it was totally fine. I haven't asked my dr. I was afraid she would think I was a lush!! Maybe I will indulge in a spritzer soon but I am still really scared!

I am dying for a frozen margarita and a chardonay over ice. I was at a block party last week, and was so jealous of everyone drinking beers - and i really don't like beer!

We were listening to the Jimmy Buffet concert at Jones Beach on DH's Sirius radio a couple of weeks ago (in our backyard - we spaced and didn't buy tix and decided we should really spend the $$ on other things anyway)
and drinking my water just seemed.. lacking! So should have bought myself some virgin margarita mix or something ha! I don't miss beer so much, tho, but I miss just having the occasional drink here and there.
