Pain during IUI?
Did anyone else experience intense cramping during their IUI? It was a really uncomfortable experience and the doctor said that I should not have felt that way.

I once felt that after an embryo transfer. and I had not for the other transfers.

During the procedure I was fine, it was about an hour later that I was in a lot of pain!

I wouldn't exactly say pain. Cramping? Yes. Sorta similar to a pap. I always had cramping for the next 2 days after the iui like AF was coming. My dr. said I could take Tylenol if I wanted but it would subside. GL!

usually cramping would come from either of the 2 things: 1) washed sperm has some remains of prostagladins or white blood cells 2) dr's hands are growing from his arse and he is not being gentle ( some people have tilted uterus (i do). In either case, you have to stick it out i hope you feel better soon

I did not have any pain whatsoever....I heard that some do get cramping....feel better!!

Thanks girls! I had another IUI today (back-to-back) and it wasn't as bad, though there was still some discomfort. It's definitely worth it though!
