another car seat question
around what age/weight do the babies start using the convertible car seats??
i feel so clueless with all this stuff lol.

This will vary for many people but for my DD, we didn't put her in her convertible until she was 16 months old (and at that time, we also turned her forward facing), but that was years ago...regulations have changed.

DD was about 6 or 7 months old. We did it before she reached the weight limit in the infant carrier. It was getting to be a PITA

i think Im going to see how it goes. if the babies are pushing the weight limit and getting really tight in there then I will convert them.

I also want to add...we had a infant seat that went up to 30 lbs (I think)...but way before that I stopped carrying that thing around...way too heavy!
But we still left the seat in the car and would carry her in and out.
