sliders made ahead of time
I want to make cheeseburger sliders for my daughter's first bday party but I know I need to make food ahead of time. Do you think I can get away with making them ahead of time and heating them up? Anyone ever do something like this?? TIA

I am not a fan of re-heated beef... especially burgers, I think they taste different and they get dried out, but thats JMO. anything else you can make ahead instead?

Nah, I wouldnt do that. I think beef really needs to be cooked right then for the best taste/texture. I would try and make other dishes ahead of time. Sliders shouldnt take too long, since they are small.

I also would not reccomend making the sliders ahead of time. I am not a fan of reheated meat. By the way, where do you buy buns for sliders? I have never seen them ??

I saw ciabatta bread rolls that were little at BJ's so I was gonna use them. Maybe I can change it to pulled pork sliders or something other than beef. Chicken burger sliders maybe?

I would def do the pulled pork instead. That way you can make it in the crockpot and just keep it on the warm setting until ready to serve. Much easier!
