opinions on drinks at a bridal shower, is this too much?

I am having red and white wine on the tables and I was also going to have champagne punch. Do I need wine and champagne punch?

I would do one or the other- champagne punch is probably going to be more cost effective. I did this for my DH surprise 40th birthday party. HTH

My sister & I threw a shower for one of our friends. The wine flew and we had to BEG people to drink the punch.

I think you would be fine with just wine, I think more people drink wine than champagne punch. I don't think it would hurt to have both though...

We did both at my bridal shower. We're big drinkers though.

I think you could get away with one or the other.

Re: opinions on drinks at a bridal shower, is this too much?

I think it depends on when it is.
If it's a brunch type shower then champagne punch would be perfect

if you're doing more lunch/dinner food then wine. I'm not a fan of champagne punch with pasta or meats, but I like it better with breakfast kind of food like eggs, waffles, etc
