For your prayers and good wishes and your sympathy and understanding.
I'm so grateful for you all.
After a sleepless night I'm still feeling stung by the news. DH doesn't know how to console me. I feel like I let him down. He doesn't feel that way.
We have decisions to make and thoughts and feelings to get through.
I wish you all the best with your upcoming and pending cycles. I hope you all get your BFP soon. For those who have had success, I wish you the best with your DCs.

my moms tenant was unsuccessful in their last IVF... they made the decision to stop treatments for a while and wait a few months to just feel normal again and they'd talk about it in a few months... its not easy but shes been doing fertility treatments on and off for 10 years...

I most likely will be back at Cornell in April so perhaps we can be cycle buddies if you do decide to give it another try.
Remember this will be my 6th IVF cycle and until I am completly broke and have No more eggs, I will not give up!

Just had a convo with Dr. Davis. I may try an injectible IUI cycle since the stats are about the same for my age group with that and IVF.
I'm not sure I can go through another IVF with this result. As sad as any bfn is I think that if you don't have to go through the actual procedures it doesn't seem as daunting. Still haven't spoke to DH about it though so he may just decide he's done. I have to honor his wishes as well.

This may be a very good idea. A lot of ladies on another board I belong to really believe that in our age group, the success rates for IVF are not that much better than IUI. They also did some informal track-keeping and it seems like more ladies over-40 seemed to get pregnant with IUI and naturally than with IVF. Go figure? I think it's worth a shot if this is the path you and your husband decide to choose. Whatever the case, I wish you all the best.
