Going for #2
Is anyone else going through fertility treatments to conceive #2?
I would like to speak with others in the same position.
We also conceived #1 though fertility treatments and are just starting the road for the next baby. I think it's a whole new world trying to juggle being a mom, working, and IF treatments.
Right now we are in the process of doing an FET with our last remaining embryos. I am a old poster from IF and a current poster on the boards in hiding because we just aren't ready to talk about this with everyone yet. If anyone is in the same boat, I would really like to make a support thread or even have a GTG or something.

Me!
Conceived DD thru IUI - she was born last March.
Currently starting 3rd IUI cycle w/injectibles. Just started Follistim tonight.
While I am currently a SAHM, it's still difficult juggling the doctor's appts - I try not to bring her if I can at all avoid it. I would hate to make anyone feel bad in the RE waiting room.
I would certainly be up for a support group or something.

Re: Going for #2
I'm trying for #2, though I didn't need fertility treatments for #1. I'd be all for a secondary infertility support group. I just posted today in someone's thread about that. I think while a LOT of the emotions are the same as primary infertility, there's also a lot of other stuff involved that's unique to already having a child.
Good luck!

Re: Going for #2
I am also. I conceived DS through IVF #4 adn have since transferred the last of my frozen embryos which resulted in a MC. We are gearing up to save for a fresh IVF cycle. Monitoring for the FET was not bad because it was only about once a week. I am really starting to stress about how to handle monitoring for a fresh cycle with an (almost) two year old.
Good luck!

Re: Going for #2
Took over 2 years and countless IVF cycles to concieve DS and now its been just about a year and one failed IVF w/PGD transfer (lots of cancelled cycles throw in there) TTC#2. It is NOT easy lugging my DS to monitoring appointments every morning bue we do what we gotta do! I am always up for a GTG

Re: Going for #2
I am so happy that there are others experiencing the same things.
Which RE is everyone seeing? I am seeing Dr. Braverman. It's funny because every time that I go in there I wonder if I am seeing anyone from LIF, but since I'm "in hiding" and don't really know any of the current members of the IF board, I just sit and wonder!

Re: Going for #2
I am currently PG from an FET (transferred one and am almost 36 weeks along with a singleton)
My other 2 DC's were also via IF treatment (DS was an IUI and DD was an IVF)
Best of luck to you
