I love these !!!
I guess she changed her mind on the re huh ???
Haahaa!! I took DD to 2 stores and walked around the newborn clothing section, looking for red outfits well they didn't have any. So we continued to walk and found these and once she heard that is said little sister and little brother...she was a little sold on it...we walked around the store for a little while, and came back and she said to me, that is the ones I want to get...so I said ok.
But she did get her way and the infant car seat has red in it she is sooo happy
And I got them at Buy Buy Baby. But I might hit up the outlet to see if they are cheaper there.

We went to Denny's, picked out the outfit and when the baby is born, my MIL will call with the sex and size and they will figure out what size to get.

Re: Outfits to take baby home in
My mom bought for a girl and boy I think 0-3 months?? I think it is a light weight fleece outfit for both - I am due in ealry April so I am hoping that is ok - I have less than a 5 min car ride home so I am sure it will be fine

Since my baby was already measuring big at 30 weeks (~ 5lbs) and she has a long torso, I plan to bring an outfit to cover 0-3, 3-6 and 6-9 months.
Even if you had a big baby, 0-3 month clothes in most brands would probably be fine.
DS was 8 lbs 1 oz at birth. He was swimming in the newborn outfit. He wore newborn clothes for 5 weeks even though he was well beyond the weight limit. I'd bring a newborn and a 0-3 month outfit with you.

ITA. DD is going to be a year on Tuesday, 17lbs 13ozs and 6-9 is a little big. 3-6 still fits somewhat. Remember, even if your baby is on the bigger side, they probably won't be much longer than 21-22 inches and the 3-6/6-9 will be huge.
DD was 6lbs 6ozs and NB was swimming on her. Forget 0-3. Unless you really think you are having a 10lb baby, I would say get NB.
