What do we think of these baskets?
I am having a hard time finding the right size basket. Should I hold off? Try something else?
I also changed the hardware to match the hardware in my kitchen
How should I decorate on top? Not loving what I have on it, but it lookst better than having nothing.

I would do one basket and turn it sideways so it's not sticking out. I like the look of the basket, just not the way it's sitting there.

I would turn one baseket or keep looking. As for the top I think you have too much going on. Maybe 1 vase and some lower candles

thanks ladies. i think im going to continue looking for a single basket that fits better.
i put the one basket on its side and i feel like there is still too much room.
i will prob go to homegoods & pier1 tomorrow and look for some decor :)

I agree that the baskets are ok, but would probably keep looking for ones that fit better.
As for on top.. how about a cute bowl to keep keys or sunglasses in?
or something for outgoing mail?
or a framed picture?

Keep basket shopping. I would look for ones or one with a fabric liner to add a pop of color. In re: to the accessories on top, how about 3 candles (2 of same height, 1 different) and a picture frame. Simple, colorful and eye-pleasing.

believe it or not, I just bought some baskets on etsy. Is there anything that I can't recommend etsy for??
Anyway, the seller was Baffin Bags. They're beautifully made and you can even give her the dimensions. I paid $18 each and they are chocolate damask

I agree with others-- one basket the long way will be better so it's not sticking out.
Homegoods is the motherland for baskets like this-- I am sure you can find something.

I agree with the others on the baskets- as for the top, I find that varying the heights of things looks more appealing. Maybe take away one of the items and swap it for something shorter.

awesome beth!!! i will def check it out after my travels today (michaels, pier1, multiple tjmaxx, and multiple homegoods)
the dimensions of the opening are so akward- making basket hunting difficult
i agree with what you ladies say and i am hoping that i find one single basket that will fill up most of the space- we plan on using it for keys, phones, flash light & dh's wallet
