Alcohol Prep Pads Recall

I am posting this here because a person died from a skin infection after using these prep pads and having to continually inject themselves. I hope everyone is safe. Hugs

Thank you for posting this!! I checked the ones I have (most come from freedom with my drugs) and they are fine!!

That would be why CVS didn't have any yesterday!
I sent my DH to pick up my Rx and some alcohol pads...he calls from the store and says
"they're out of alcohol prep pads." Me: They can't be out of alchohol prep pads, it's a drug store. Look again and if you can't find them just ASK someone." DH- "I looked where you told me to look and the shelf is empty."
Me: "That's ridiculous. Can you please just ask someone so I don't have to get out of my pj's and come down there?"

So I guess the shelf really was empty!
I use about 8 a day. Now I'm down to cotton balls and a bottle of alcohol. Def. not as easy as a prep pad.

Where do you get your injects from? They send them to me from freedom with all of my deliveries!!

I haven't actually had to BUY alcohol swabs in years!!

with all the IVF meds and daily loveonx even with freedom's freebies, its easy to run out.

i do not use pads at all. just wipe with alcohol. is it wrong?
