Hi ladies.

I was wondering if you could share any info you have on Lindenhurst. I grew up close by but never spent any time there. How are the schools? My SIL & BIL are looking in the area. TIA!

Re: Lindenhurst

Grew up and now live in it the village. I think its a great town, affordable and a decent school district. I like the fact they have events through out the late spring into the fall. It is VERY affordable and new businesses are opening up in town.

Re: Lindenhurst

We were up until recently looking in Lindenhurst. I asked many people and got many positive responses about the schools and the area!

I live in Lindenhurst. DS isn't school-age yet, but I've heard good things. People will tell you to tell them to stay away from N. Lindenhurst, but I live in a nice area right off of Rt. 109 that is considered N. Lindy (most people think that we're in W. Babylon). We're in the Lindenhurst school district, but I believe that most of the other parts of N. Lindy go to Copiague schools, so if Lindenhurst schools are important to them they should keep that in mind when looking Chat Icon
