Lindenhurst
Hi ladies.
I was wondering if you could share any info you have on Lindenhurst. I grew up close by but never spent any time there. How are the schools? My SIL & BIL are looking in the area. TIA!

Re: Lindenhurst
Grew up and now live in it the village. I think its a great town, affordable and a decent school district. I like the fact they have events through out the late spring into the fall. It is VERY affordable and new businesses are opening up in town.

Re: Lindenhurst
We were up until recently looking in Lindenhurst. I asked many people and got many positive responses about the schools and the area!

Re: Lindenhurst
I live in Lindenhurst. DS isn't school-age yet, but I've heard good things. People will tell you to tell them to stay away from N. Lindenhurst, but I live in a nice area right off of Rt. 109 that is considered N. Lindy (most people think that we're in W. Babylon). We're in the Lindenhurst school district, but I believe that most of the other parts of N. Lindy go to Copiague schools, so if Lindenhurst schools are important to them they should keep that in mind when looking
