Maternity Clothes
Help! Where should I look to get affordable but nice clothes?
I definitely need pants at this point. I went to Target in Westbury and they had like TWO things! I did get the Be-Band and LOVE it.
Any good recommendations? I dont want to spend a fortune, but I want things that look good too. Mostly looking for jeans and work pants.

Re: Maternity Clothes
I actually got most of my work pants from Target! I ordered them online and love them. I also got a great pair of work pants and a great pair of jeans from Motherhood Maternity - both very reasonably priced.

Hmm maybe I will check Target online. There was NOTHING there. like 4 shirts, and 2 jeans that weren't nice.
I worry about ordering online with trying it on. How did you know what size to get?
THANKS!

Re: Maternity Clothes
I love the way Gap clothes fit, but they are on the pricier side. I got a pair of maternity jeans at Old Navy for 40% off around the holidays. I ended up paying 20 dollars for the jeans. They are super comfortable and have a vintage look to them.

I order the same size I order when I'm not pregnant. I also check out the material of whatever I'm ordering to see how much "give" there is. For instance, I ordered a linen-like shirt from Old Navy that looked like it had NO give, so I ordered a size up. When it got here I was glad I did! But things that are stretchy should be fine in your original size. And if they're not, most places have decent return policies.

Re: Maternity Clothes
Almost all of my maternity clothes are from the Gap, but I also found a couple of shirts at H&M! I too had no luck at Target!

Re: Maternity Clothes
If you spend $50+ at target.com, you get free shipping. And, you can return the items you don't want for free in the store. So, I ordered a few sizes at first & just returned what didn't fit. Now, I know what to order & how things usu fit. But, Target's great to deal with!

Re: Maternity Clothes
Macy's...they don't carry it online but I got such amazing deals at the maternity dept in Macy's at Smithaven Mall. Only downside is that you cannot use any Macy's coupons but I still made out really well! Lots of pants (dress pants, etc) for $19.99!

Re: Maternity Clothes
Everything I have bought is from the Gap...I love the quality and fit of all the clothes. Since starting to buy maternity in December, there has constantly been an additional 30 - 40% off sale stuff.

Re: Maternity Clothes
Macy's in Manhasset has a good maternity section, Destination Maternity and Gap.com. Forever 21 has maternity clothes, but I think they are only available online.

Re: Maternity Clothes
Cant go wrong with Gap! I feel the most normal in their clothes compared to other 'maternity' clothes!
