If you registered at Buy Buy Baby AND Babies R Us
how did you do it/
Did you register for everything at both?
How did you decide what to put on either registry?

I havnt registered yet....but I think its probably best to either just do one or the other, just so you dont get alot of doubles. Or if you do both I def wouldnt put the same thing of each reg, you will be doing alot of returns

I did most at both and stalked and removed things as they were bought. I only registered at BBB, Target & Amazon, but that's how I did it with those.

I put some stuff on at BBB and other stuff at BRU. I originally was only going to register at BBB but then saw other things at BRU that I liked better or were cheaper at BRU so I put that stuff on the BRU registry.

When I registered with my DS, I did most of my baby stuff at BRU. I used BBB for the furniture, mattress, changing pad/covers, glider. Mostly the big stuff was at BBB. I did it that was because there are more BRU and thought that would be easier for my family & friends.

I posted the same question a couple of days ago. I actually went to BBB last night to register there (did BRU a couple of weeks ago). For my big items, BRU had some patterns I liked for items, while BBB had the other items in patterns I liked, so no duplication and different items. I was unsure about a a number of things when we did BRU so I read up on those and added them to the BBB registry, so there's a decent split between the two.

I also did both and because they carry different patterns in the playpens, high chairs, car seats, etc., I just went with whichever store had what I liked. Same goes for the video monitor and other big items.. the workers at both told me the two stores get different products from the same companies just so people don't try to return things to the wrong store. Go to both and see what you like where. Good luck!

we have most of our stuff on BBB because we liked the patterns there better. I had hoped it would be easy to split between the two but it hasnt been. I think a lot of it has to do with personal preference, we just happened to like more stuff at BBB than BRU

same - most of my small items are at bru just because i thought they were easier to locate in that store
i doubled up on some of my bedding accesories because it was cheaper at bru but you can only get my bedding there if you order online

I have most of the big ticket items except for the stroller and carseat at BBB. I have a lot of clothing and bottles and cups and dishes and utensils and pacifiers, little items at BRU. I know most people will only go to BRU and not BBB, since the BBB is inconveniently located for a lot of people we know. My own mother even complained that she won't come "all the way" to Huntington to it  I don't know how much we'll end up getting because of this, but the prices are so much lower at BBB for the items we wanted plus the coupons, it just didn't make sense for me to do the same things at BRU.
