wow...that's crazy...I had it at 34 weeks with my first son, and it was the worst, most scary experience I had ever had. I felt like I couldn't breathe, but my heart was racing out of my body....It brought me to the floor...I thought something was really, really wrong. My husband ran to get the nurse, and she said, yeah, that's normal I told her she should have warned me beforehand...I was soooooooo mad!

I had this at 32 weeks with DD. I was warned that it would cause me to feel jittery and increase my heart rate, but it was normal. OMG i was shaking, talking a mile a minute, and acting all weird. DH was scared lol

I had a reaction like that to it also. I got it in the hospital - this is why my dr. wouldn't send me home with it.

Re: Terbutaline to stop labor dangerous for pregnant women??
wow im very surprised to read this. I was given the terbutaline infusion pump at 24.5 weeks and used it till i was just about 36 weeks. and if it wasnt for the pump i would have delivered my dd at 24.5 weeks who they told me would "not be viable" so im eternatly greatful to terbutaline.. but i guess every person reacts to medications differently!
