Rest. w/ private room (in Nassau)

Im looking for a resturant with a private party room in Nassau county. Room must hold for 50-75 ppl. Any ideas? I obviously want a place with really good food, spaciaous and a good party package. Id love to be able to have some apps (mini cocktail hr) or atleast a table set up w/ some finger foods for my guests. Pasta/Salad/Entree courses. I wanted open bar but im not 100% set on that being it will add to the expense. This is for a 1st communion. I live in Westchester but being all my family is from LI I thought maybe after the ceremeony Id just drive out there rather than have ppl come here. I really dont know anyplace out in Nassau with rave reviews....id love some ideas!

I just posted this on Tuesday.

I just had DS's Christening at Piccola Bussola. All of their packages come with wine, soda, coffe & cake/dessert included. It was very good & they have 2 private rooms.

We had 60 people but there was definitely room for more.

thanks....of course they add 7$ for a Sat night...I was thinking being most ppl wont come to the ceremony at 10am...so id do a night time affair. But part of me feels if I do night I must do open bar.....hmmm maybe I will go back to my oginal plan and do lunch!!!!

We had our party at 2:30. No extra fee and had the room until about 6:30pm Wine is included and we ran a tab if anyone wanted to drink anything else. Being that the wine was already on the table that's what most people drank. Our bar bill was about $60.00.

Just a heads up - if you're booking for a first Communion do it fast. Dates in May go quick.

LOL Im looking for NEXT May (2012) hahaha I know crazy but when I talked w. ppl they said you need to look early. So I just wanted to get ideas so I can put a hold once I get the date! I know Im crazy!! LMAO
