Re-heating chicken?
I made chicken parm and brought leftovers for lunch, but to me, when I nuke chicken in the microwave it tastes gross. Does this happen to anyone else?
Should I just put it in the toaster oven instead?

Re: Re-heating chicken?
I agree... I think re-heated chicken is weird! I have texture issues with it... i literally just make it warm so it does not get to dried out and stuff. But I have texture issues with chicken in general!

Re: Re-heating chicken?
The trick is covering it!
either leave the container on and just remove it slightly so that it breathes or take a paper towel and cover the top of the plate/dish.. that'll warm it evenly and keep it moist.

Re: Re-heating chicken?
I will only heat leftover chicken enough to take the chill off (otherwise I'll even eat some kinds cold). I HATE that weird taste, I know exactly what you are talking about.

ITA with this if you reheat stuff uncovered it dries it out
