Julia's Boeuf Bourguignon is in the oven..

can't wait to taste it later!!! This is the first recipe I've made from Mastering The Art of Frech Cooking. My BFF gave it to me for Christmas, I LOVE Julia and the movie Julie & Julia.

I cannot belive the detail involved in her recipes!! WOW!! It took me about an hour just to prep it to get it in the oven!

I'm sure it will be well worth it!

If you saw the movie....Yuuuummmm!!!

LOL.

It really was outrageous and worth the effort. The layers of flavor were incredible.

It was totally outrageous!

And after it taking 1 hour of prepping to get in the oven, I have a huge appreciation for whomever Julie was that made all the recipes in that book in one year...and had a full time job. I don't know how she did it.

That being said, I've got another recipe picked out for next weekend! For me, it's not possible to do on a work night, but the weekends are good.
