sealing granite?
For those with granite countertops, how often do you seal it? Annually? Not even that often?
Our installer sealed the granite when it was installed this past winter, but he said to do it again soon since our granite is a bit softer (maduri gold).
Which sealer do you use? I bought a bottle at HD that needs about 48 hrs to fully dry before using it again  Is that typical? I was thinking just overnight would be enough.

I used the HD one.
I cleaned it very well the night before. Sprayed it on the next morning and followed the directions and put everything back the next morning after that....no problems

thanks for the info. What did you do the day you let it dry? Did you avoid using your kitchen sink the whole time? I guess you have to, right?
